How Much Does a Church LED Video Wall Cost?
Updated: 2 days ago

The honest answer is a range, not one number. A complete indoor LED video wall for a church in 2026 can start around $6,499 for a small starter package and climb into the tens of thousands as the wall gets larger, the pixel pitch gets tighter, and install gets more involved.
Most LED companies will not put real numbers on a page. You fill out a form, wait, and get a quote you cannot compare to anything. This guide is meant to give pastors, boards, and media teams a clear starting point: what drives cost, what a ProPixel package usually includes, where churches typically land, and what to watch for when you compare quotes.
ProPixel is a U.S.-based LED company in Missouri. We work with churches of every size. If cash up front is the holdup, financing is available through our partners.
Why LED Wall Pricing Feels So Confusing
Search “LED video wall cost” and you usually get two things: “it depends,” or a contact form.
There are real reasons for that:
Every wall is custom. Size, pitch, processor, mounting, and shipping all change the number.
Some vendors quote panels only. Others quote a full system. The cheaper-looking bid is often incomplete.
A lot of the market still prefers to quote after they see the room, the church, and the budget.
Those things are true. They still should not leave you guessing. Churches can handle ranges. Below are the ranges we use when we talk through projects every week.
The 5 Things That Drive The Price
Every quote moves up or down on these five points.
1. Screen size - LED is sold by the panel. More width and height means more panels. A small 8.2 ft x 5 ft starter wall and a 16 ft x 10 ft sanctuary backdrop are not in the same budget.
2. Pixel pitch - Pitch is the distance between pixels. Tighter pitch looks sharper up close and costs more.
3.9mm — a strong, affordable choice when the first row is farther back
2.6mm / 2.9mm — better when people sit closer and you want a cleaner image
Match pitch to viewing distance. Do not buy the finest pitch “just because” if the congregation will never sit that close.
3. Panel size and configuration - We commonly use 500 x 500 mm panels (about 20 in. x 20 in.) and 500 x 1000 mm panels (about 20 in. x 40 in.). The layout changes panel count, processor needs, cases, and total price.
4. What is included - A complete package should cover more than the screen itself:
LED panels
Video processor (often a NovaStar VX600 or VX1000)
Power and Ethernet / signal cables
Road cases
Spare parts or sometimes backup panels on some orders
Optional hanging bars, mounting, install, and training
5. Install complexity - Wall-mount on a solid back wall is usually the simplest. Flying the wall from the ceiling, adding hanging bars, extra cable runs, or sending a crew across the country all add cost. Install should be listed as its own line, not buried.
Real ProPixel Starting Prices
These are the numbers we use in actual church conversations. Sale pricing changes, so treat this as a current planning guide, not a locked catalog.
Starter package
$6,499
A typical starter package includes:
15 of our 3.9mm 500 x 500 mm panels
NovaStar VX600 processor
Road cases
Patch cables needed for install
Those 15 panels make a screen about 8.2 ft wide x 5 ft tall.
That is not a megachurch wall. It is a real, bright LED upgrade that many smaller churches can actually start with. From there, we can scale up.
How Churches Usually Land
Every project is custom, but this is the pattern we see:
Church LED Screen | Typical Direction | Rough Planning Range |
Small starter wall | 15-panel 3.9mm package | About $6,499 |
Compact sanctuary screen | Mid-size 3.9mm wall | Often teens to low $20ks for panels + processor |
Main sanctuary wall | Larger 3.9mm or tighter 2.6mm | Mid $20ks and up, depending on size |
Closer seating / sharper image | 2.6mm or 2.9mm | Higher per panel than 3.9mm |
Full turnkey with travel install | Add install and travel as actual costs |
Financing
A lot of churches know they need the wall. The hang-up is writing one large check.
Financing can spread the cost so the church can upgrade now and keep reserves for other ministry. ProPixel works with Hampton Ridge Financial, a lender that works with churches on media and tech purchases.
Financing is not required. It is simply an option when cash up front is what is slowing the board down.
Common Pricing Mistakes
Comparing a panel-only bid to a complete package. Always ask both vendors to quote the same scope: panels, processor, cables, cases, shipping, mounting, and install.
Buying pitch you do not need. If the first row is 25 feet away, a 3.9mm wall can look excellent. Paying for ultra-fine pitch the congregation will never see is an easy way to overspend.
Ignoring the processor. The processor is what drives the wall. A cheap processor on a good panel is a weak system.
Forgetting mounting and structure. Hanging bars, wall structure, and cable path are real costs. Ask about them early.
Choosing the lowest number without references. Ask who they have installed for, what warranty they offer, and who answers the phone after Sunday.
Not asking about financing. Some boards approve a monthly payment faster than they approve a full cash outlay.
Launching with no content plan. The wall is only as good as what you put on it. Plan lyrics, backgrounds, and sermon graphics before install week.
What To Ask Every Vendor
Use this on our quote and anyone else’s.
Is the quote itemized — panels, processor, cables, cases, shipping, install?
What pixel pitch is this, and why does it fit our viewing distance?
What is the actual built size, not just the target size?
What warranty is included, and what does it cover?
Are spare panels or extra parts included?
Who supports us after install?
Is training included?
How long is the quote good for?
What is the lead time from payment to delivery?
If we finance, who is the lender and what do we need to apply?
ProPixel products typically carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Many orders also include extra parts and backup panels because panels ship in cases of eight.
FAQ
How much does a church LED video wall cost? A complete ProPixel starter package starts at $6,499. Larger sanctuary walls cost more because they use more panels, and sometimes a tighter pitch and a larger processor. Shipping and install are quoted separately.
What is the least expensive way to start? Our 15-panel 3.9mm starter package is the usual entry point. It makes an 8.2 ft x 5 ft wall and includes the processor, cases, and patch cables.
Why do two quotes for the “same size” look so different? Pitch, panel quality, processor, what is included, and markup. Demand the same scope from both companies before you compare.
Does the package price include installation? Not usually. The package covers the equipment. Install is quoted based on whether your team does it or we come on site.
Is financing available? Yes. We can connect you with Hampton Ridge Financial.
How long do LED panels last? Quality indoor panels are built for years of weekly use. Individual modules can be serviced if needed, and a 3-year manufacturer warranty gives churches a clear window of coverage.
How do I get a real number for our church? Send the size you are considering, how far the first row sits from the screen, and a photo of the stage. That is enough for a real quote.
Ready For A Number That Fits Your Sanctuary?
You do not need a 40-page packet to start. You need size, viewing distance, and a vendor who will explain the quote in plain language.
Share a photo of your space and how far the front row is from the stage. ProPixel can put a real package in front of you — including financing if that helps the church take the next step.
